The Fall 2009 ALCA will be in Irwindale, California where Southern California Edison has graciously agreed to be our Fall Meeting utility host. The meeting will be held at the CTAC (Customer Application Technology Center) at the SCE offices in Irwindale. The CTAC features demonstrations, training seminars, and special events. CTAC houses six technology centers showcasing energy solutions, a theatre-style conference center, meeting rooms, and complete catering and audiovisual services. It is a perfect venue for the upcoming ALCA meeting.

Arrangements are now being made for a block of rooms at a local hotel and details will be coming soon.

The Welcome Reception will be held on Wednesday October 7th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the CTAC. Come join us!

Comverge has agreed to be the Spring 2009 ALCA sponsor of the April 9th Thursday night cocktail hour and dinner. Comverge will also provide all attendees with an update on their latest advancements in AMI and IHD technologies. Trilliant has agreed to return to bring us a one year update on their efforts to advance Demand Response through AMI and they will host the Wednesday April 8th Welcome Reception. The Spring 2009 ALCA will once again head back to fabulous Las Vegas where NV Energy (formerly Nevada Power/Sierra Pacific Power Companies) has graciously agreed to again be our Spring Meeting utility host.

Arrangements have been made for a block of rooms at the Palace Station at 2411 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102. Room rates are $65.00 per night + 9% tax and $9.95/night Service Fee. For Room Reservation at the Palace Station up until the close date of 3/18/2008 - Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with the Station reservations at (702) 367-2411 or (800) 634-3101. PLEASE REFER TO: "ALCA Paragon Consulting Services" in order to obtain the discount rate.
